Every Sunday evening SamePage reads the week's signals and writes a few insights for the Budget tab's To review list. One extra run a day can be asked for here.
What SamePage's own Claude calls cost, estimated from the tokens each call recorded, at list prices. The daily digest goes to one member only, by email and browser push, for three weeks.
Your Mac delivers finance facts for review. SamePage's active period categories decide where purchases belong. SamePage does not connect to your banks.
A household administrator can pair a Mac and manage merchant rules here.
One-time setup connects your local bridge. Finance acquisition in ChatGPT Work is a separate schedule that you must verify with your connected accounts.
On your Mac with Node 22 or newer, download the Mac bridge and unzip it. Open Terminal in the extracted samepage-bridge folder and run:
node bridge/cli.mjs installThe installer copies the bridge into Application Support so it keeps working after you remove the download. Installing alone does not start syncing.
Use Create pairing code below, then run this command and paste the code at its hidden prompt. The code belongs only in your Mac's bridge setup.
Download the Work acquisition prompt. Set its expected accounts and give the local Work task access only to ~/Samepage/Bridge/Inbox. Run it once with your connected finance tools and check that the resulting file includes every expected account.
Finance access during a local or unattended Work run must be tested on your account. If it is unavailable, finish connecting it before scheduling; an empty file does not prove coverage.
Replace FIRST-REAL-BUNDLE.json below with that verified file's name. Pin accounts only after you have checked them, then preview and import:
Return to the Attention Inbox to review the results. Keep automatic additions off during this first check.
Verify an unattended Work acquisition and schedule it daily. Then check the bridge connection and install its five-minute local schedule:
Keep your Mac awake, Work running, and Keychain available. Check the delivery and coverage dates here after the next run. Merchant rules and automatic additions below control how received purchases enter the budget.
Enter a pairing code in the samepage-bridge setup on your Mac. Keep it out of ChatGPT Work and finance bundles.
Off by default. A merchant rule must also allow automatic add. Incomplete coverage, possible duplicates, and changed facts still need review.
Rules remember a category's name and section, then find that category in each active period. A missing or ambiguous category requires review.
Past choices provide suggestions. Merchants used for multiple categories continue to need a household decision; these observations do not enable automatic additions.
